This bibliography represents the results of a comprehensive, systematic effort to identify and review all post-project studies of the socio-economic impacts of megaprojects on existing local or regional residents. The bibliography focuses on contemporary Canadian natural resource megaprojects that required investments of about $1 billion or more and were constructed or under construction since the second world war. The annotated entries in the bibliography cover megaprojects including mines, oil and gas fields, hydroelectric dams, pipelines, and a methanol/ammonia plant. A list of related studies that were not reviewed is also included.
