Abstract: "After a brief survey on the Cordic algorithm, we give some new results which enable fast and easy signed-digit implementation of Cordic, without modifying the basic iteration step. Our method gives a constant normalization factor. Then, we propose an on-line implementation of our algorithm with an on-line delay equal to 4."
