The Tangier gold deposit is situated within the village of Tangier, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, located about 85 km east by northeast of Halifax. A four-hole drill program designed to investigate the stratigraphy west of the present underground development as well as provide complete core sections for detailed study was conducted. This information was further supplemented with data compiled from library information, unreleased private company information and geochemical and petrologic investigations of drill core and dump samples. This report presents results of petrological and geochemical investigations and preliminary results of diamond drilling.
