The Cod monitoring program is part of the Dutch cod avoidance plan developed by the Dutch Government together with the Dutch fishing sector. The aim of this cod monitoring program is to provide information on the Catch per Unit Effort (CpUE) in the TR fleet (bottom trawls and seines). To remain updated, an overview of fishing activity, cod catches and cod Landings per Unit Effort (LpUE) of all four gear types per quarter is requested by the ministry of Economic Affairs. This report presents the results of the fourth quarter in 2014.
