Abstract: Unrestricted participation in everyday life is often a challenge for people with active epilepsy. Epileptic seizures can cause uncertainty and the feeling of overburdening of caregivers in kindergarten, school, at work and at home. Specifically customized seizure action plans for caregivers including relatives, supervisory persons and paramedics should provide concise practical protocols for action in the case of a seizure. So far, there have been no standardized plans for this purpose in German. With the action plans for epileptic seizures for laypersons (HEAL) and therapists (HEAT), two forms are presented that provide a standardized basis which can easily be adapted to individual needs
