This study compares the empowerment needs of Native Americans and non-Native Americans. By empowering individuals, an organization is improved and productivity is greatly increased. to assist and support culturally different employees, the leadership of an organization needs to understand the dynamics of race, ethnicity, and empowerment, and how these forces engage human functioning. Many cultural backgrounds are represented by the employees of today's organizations. This places demands on organizations to adjust their assumptions and understandings about empowerment to the needs of diverse employees.
