What began as a once off Halloween special for a podcast quickly developed into its own show, becoming a full production with the aim of bringing stories, prose and poetry to life. The Travelling Sideshow of the Macabre was born hosting tales of horror and madness in its own arena and making guest appearances in other podcasts including Satanic Story Time, 9Sense, Raising Hell and The Devil You Know podcast. As we reach our fifth anniversary we decided to celebrate with the publication of this book. The following pages contain short stories, poetry and prose from the members of the troupe. We hope you enjoy this little collection and look forward to your continued support of our show.

THE LOGIC BEHIND $ave Our $alary: New York City The median personal income in the United States of America in 2015 was $30,240. This book promises to save you well over that amount in your first year in the greatest American city on earth, New York. Over $37,000 in fact. NYC is one of the most expensive cities in the world, yet has countless secret entrances to free movies with complimentary beer and chances to meet A List stars, to the best seats at Yankee Stadium; $O$ NYC will help you to unlock them all. Eat your favorite food while wearing that new designer's latest fall line, all for a fraction of the cost. If we can't manage to find it for free naturally. Whether you're new to the Big Apple or a native New Yorker, Save Our Salary: New York City has something for you. The cost? A mere 0.01% of the savings you'll make when you're finished reading. A 10,000 times return on your investment? You can take it to the bank. Just don't ask them for the same rate of return. Because everything mentioned in here is real. It's been lived, tried and tested by my wife and me during our first three years in Gotham. If we didn't do it in the City then it didn't make it in the book. Let's make America Cheap Again.
