This report is a preliminary analysis to assess the relative abundance and species richness of primarily gamebirds and seed-eating passerines (with reference to insectivorous passerines) associated with winter bird crops (i.e. game-cover crops and wildbird mixes within the set-aside scheme) through the winter period.
