The report discusses on natural and social characteristics of the Kamniška bistrica River catchment area. In contains data on population of the area, details on climate (precipitation and evapotransporation) and on hydrogeology and hydrology of the area. In addition, it describes surface and ground waters phenomena and monitoring network. Detailed data on climate and hydrological characteristics are available in Volume 2, whereas detailed surface and ground water quality are available in Volume 3. Water protection zones and other protected areas are listed. Furthermore, the report discusses water supply systems and sewage systems of the area as well as point and diffuse sources of pollution and existing waste water treatment facilities and technology.
