What is the concept of gender leadership? Are there differences in the way women and men tend to lead? Can one gender's leadership style be more effective than the other one depending on the situation the company is in? This study aims to collect relevant literature on the concept of female leadership and to compare the theory with the practice, through qualitative in-depth interviews. The objective is to empirically test certain relevant hypothesis to come up with a significant conclusion on what is the perception on gender leadership our female top leaders have nowadays. Finally, it aims to contribute to research, driving interest to this very new object of study and suggesting next steps for future research.
