Keep it simple!HOW TO TALK TO BABY Use a high-pitched tone, but use actual words from baby's environment. Keep it simple. One or two word labels are easy enough for even young babies to grasp. ("Milk" or "eat.") But also be sure use full sentences using these labels, like narrating your daily activities. "Mommy is pouring your milk." Surprise them. Babies are more interested in things that are new and different. Be supportive. Show your baby that you are geniunely interested in listening to them. Let them take their time.
