  • Book cover of The Ballad of the Boy Named B
    C Beau Smith

     · 2024

Contained inside the covers of this book are the answers that I have found to life’s greatest mysteries, and hopefully between the rhythms and rhymes you can come to the same understanding that I have. In this world we are not alone and that in this world, though we may feel like it is not possible that anyone has ever hurt like we have or are hurting like we are, that throughout all time, someone or somewhere has felt how we are feeling and that is a statement of life. Though every word may not always rhyme with its predecessor, you will find that the thoughts that each poem conveys will aid in your understanding of my mind and the pain I have endured and the pleasures I have encountered. The sun will always rise whether you like it or not. I hope this totem of thought will help you contemplate and conceptualize the rest of your life as it has helped me in writing it. Through years of hard work, through my trials and tribulations, I happily present to you “The Ballad of the Boy named B.”
