You've had many regrets of not taking action and not saying the words when you had a chance. You're sick of letting the opportunities slip out of your life. You just haven't learned to stop your fears in their tracks before they even manifest. In this book, you will learn: - Fear is like a bubble surrounding us. It serves to protect us, but it also prevents 97% of us from realizing our dreams, our potential, our goals, and our destiny. - If you can conquer the fear in your life, you gain unlimited power and potential to gain wealth, health, happiness, success, and freedom. - The remedy for paralysis by analysis is to LEAP before you THINK. - Our fear subsides once the decision is made and set. - By doing LEAP before you THINK, you don't permit your mind enough time to come up with the 1,000,000 reasons why you shouldn't LEAP. - Courage comes right after you LEAP before you THINK. - LEAP before you THINK involves carefully calculating and assessing risk. - LEAP before you THINK means to be brave, be courageous, be bold. - Don't THINK too long because the longer you think, the less likely you'll be able to LEAP. - Commit this LEAP before you THINK mantra to memory, and use it often. You'll be amazed at the results. You'll feel so much more alive. - When you LEAP before you THINK, you'll finally be able to do the things you've always wanted to do but were too afraid to do. - When you LEAP before you THINK, you will fail sometimes, but that's okay. Just get back up and try again. - No one who has ever become great did so without failing a lot. They failed much worse than you. What you'll get out of this book: After reading this book you should have a good understanding of financial statements and reports, and be able to make smart, informed decisions as an accountant/bookkeeper, business owner, investor, or stakeholder. Accounting is the basic language of business. Whether you are an accountant/bookkeeper, a business owner, or an investor, you look at financial statements and reports to determine how well a company is performing. As a CPA, I look at financial statements every day. I also prepare financial statements for clients. I will share with you in simple terms how to understand and make use of financial statements to achieve your goals. Where do you start? Financial statements analysis have several components, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, statement of equity, and notes to financial statements. In my job as a public accountant/auditor I've worked with many different companies. On many days I work with new clients. I have to familiarize myself with the company before doing my audit work. I start by looking at the notes to the financial statements, usually attached at the end of the financial statements. The notes generally give a good overview of what the company does and introduces the many features in the balance sheet and income statement.
