Within the present study, a consolidation of more than 200 reports and studies has been conducted with the objective to produce a compendium of examples, figures and indicators appraising socio-economic impacts from space activities in the EU. This review clearly demonstrates that public investments in the space sector result in sizable socio-economic benefits for Europe.
