Abstract: Reinvestigation of the Bellepoint Member, the lowest member of the Columbus Limestone (Devonian: Emsian-Eifelian), revealed a mosaic of marine, marginal-marine, and nonmarine environments. Lithofacies, body fossils, and trace fossils suggest that the unit is not entirely marine in origin.
