At the weekly management meeting, Division Director, Ryan Robinson is struggling to keep his eyes open. Falling asleep would be a poor example for the other employees. Ryan had been leading a great life with a high-paying job, a huge house, luxury cars and a gorgeous girlfriend, Jennifer Yamamoto. But that life came crashing down one night when a simple misunderstanding exploded into a huge argument ending when Jennifer stormed out of the house promising never to return. Since then, Ryan has been lonely and depressed unable to sleep. At his lowest point, Ryan is given an assignment to coach a little league baseball team filled with unruly misfits. Reluctantly attending the first practice, Ryan meets a strikingly beautiful but psychotic woman, Amber Lowery, and a torrid, steamy love affair begins. As the season goes on, the relationship continues to sizzle but as the summer comes to an end, so does the fling. Not accepting the end well, Amber promises revenge but Ryan does not take the threats seriously. Months pass slowly when, unexpectedly, Jennifer returns back into Ryan's life seeking to revive their relationship. Now that they are back together again, Jennifer, too, becomes a target of Amber's anger. With two unsuccessful attempts on their lives, Ryan devises a plan to eliminate Amber but before the strategy can be implemented, he is called out of town on a business trip. Returning home for a special date with Jennifer, on an isolated, deserted highway, Amber ambushes him and a vicious life-or-death struggle ensues. As the morning sun rises, a dead body is lying on the highway and another is sitting in jail charged with first-degree murder. Who died and who will be spending the rest of their life in prison? Has Jennifer's life been shattered? What is the final outcome? T
