Kentucky New Play Series Anthology, 2012-2013
For 2017 the Kentucky Theatre Yearbook has been greatly expanded beyond our original focus, which was the new play census. Instead, this issue includes listings of Kentucky playwrights whose works have been on Broadway, and two new short plays. There are articles on topics such as Pioneer Playhouse's prison outreach, Kentucky Chautauqua, and the University of Kentucky's Arts Extension programs. For producers, there are listings of arts presenters and rental venues. For directors and designers there are listings of theatre-related businesses. Finally, for actors of all ages there are listings of schools and training programs. We hope theatre practitioners across the state find this volume helpful.
