The story The Tree That Grew Hair is about a tree that didn’t like the way it looked and decided to change its appearance by growing hair instead of leaves. It felt that by doing so it would get a lot of attention from the trees. But a sneaky parasitic plant lured the tree into making it think it could grow hair. Despite several warning from the neighboring trees, the Cedar refused to listen to their advice. The Cedar tree enjoyed a moment of satisfaction and attention, but only to experience a greater, more devastating problem. Fear, and sadness tormented the Cedar because of the bad choice it had made. Realizing its folly, the Cedar tree learned a valuable lesson that brought it back to its senses. What was it that was so terrifying to the Cedar that made it change its way of thinking?
