In diesem Buch werden die gängigen Spulenwickelverfahren, deren angrenzende Technologien und die zugehörigen Automatisierungstechniken dargestellt. Von der Einführung als umformendes Fügeverfahren, über die physikalischen Eigenschaften von Spulen werden die Halbzeuge (Draht, Spulenkörper, Isolation) eingeführt. In der Prozesskette wird beginnend beim Wickeldraht zu verschiedenen Wickelverfahren hingeführt. Abschließend wird die Automatisierung dieser Prozesse beschrieben.
