Cornelius Davis was born in New York in 179. He married Agness Nancy Winfield and they were the parents of seven children. They moved to Michigan with their family about 1837. His first wife died in 1844 and he remarried to Anna R. Donaldson. Information on many of his descendants who now live in Michigan, Idaho, and elsewhere is given in this book. Information also on the ancestry of Isabelle Erwin who was the wife of James Davis is also included in this volume.
