The first ever collection of Niki & Jean's radiant posters, is a must for fans of both artists and graphic designers alike. Niki de Saint Phalle's bold, colourful work lent itself perfectly to graphic design, when she started producing posters in the early 1970's. Likewise, her partner Jean Tinguely, began creating poster art around the same time. Both artists developed their talent in this genre and this lively collection offers, brilliant reproductions of their most important posters, many of which, the two artists collaborated on together. This selection includes posters both with Niki de Saint Phalle's signature Nanas and Jean Tinguely's abstract chromatic compositions. This beautifully produced volume includes an enlightening introduction by Isabel Siben and an appendix with a catalogue raisonne of 150 posters by both artists.
