After discovering a magnetic anomaly underneath the ice in Antarctica, remnants of an ancient civilization are found. A group of scientists are sent to collect data, but they are not aware the true intentions of the expedition's benefactor. As things begin to unwind they are caught in a web of deceit and discover a much more nefarious reason they are there.

A written account of an interview with a self-described "Alien" claiming to be an interstellar anthropologist who was sent to Earth to study our cultures many, many years ago. The individual makes the claim that disclosure is imminent and that the human race needs to begin to think of ourselves as simply "individuals from Earth" as we are gradually introduced to others, from other places, and find that on a base level they differ very little from us.
