A cumulative record of nematodes associated with some Lousiana plants has been maintained in the nematology research laboratory in the department of plant pathology, Louisiana State University, for twenty years. Nematode and plant identifications were made by many scientists, including W. Birchfield, A. L. Taylor, G. Steiner, A. M. Golden, M. J. Fielding, and C. E. Dieter for nematodes, and C. A. Brown for plant identifications. The authority used for names of cultivated plants and oramentals was bailey, for grasses hitchcock, and for wild plants Fernald except for a few listed only small.
