LIGHTNING ROD THAT STRIKES FASTER THAN LIGHTNING ITSELF is a book dedicated to the study of the phenomenal legend in the world of boxing - Cus D’Amato. This work is a collection of scientific research on the origin of Cus’ unique style that allowed the legend of South Italian descent to nurture three world boxing champions (Mike Tyson, Floyd Patterson, José Torres) and train a number of individuals in and out of the boxing ring. The origin of Cus’ style was decoded by a voluminous twenty-year scientific study us- ing interdisciplinary research from the fields of history, archetypology, fate psychol- ogy, sociology, and anthropology. The research group, part of the Memory Research Institute - Expeditionary Corps, conducted repeated scientific expeditions to Italy, Ger- many, the US, and Spain. However, the conclusive milestone of this study was the Apu- lian-Calabrian expedition - the course and results of which are outlined in this book. “Lightning rod that strikes faster than lightning itself ” is based on a heuristic research model, which includes eight separate analyses (psychological, criminalistic, journalis- tic, etc). This method was chosen by the author so that every reader, no matter if he is a boxer or a coach, historian or psychologist, or simply an individual who is interested in the legendary boxing style of D’Amato, would be able to verify the results of academic research on his own and ascertain the quality of the facts and conclusions provided.
This is a book about a great man, an unbeaten boxing coach who in his lifetime nurtured three heavyweight world champions—a feat no one is capable of repeating nowadays. Cus D’Amato - the book is about him. The legend whose triumph is absolute, and requires no unnecessary comment and third-party consent. Here is a complete guide to the skill and tools needed to get a fundamental insight of D’Amato’s system, psychology and philosophy. This book will be useful for anybody who is striving for self-perfection and seeking an effective lifestyle methodology of a champion, not only in boxing. Cus D’Amato didn’t become phenomenal at birth. He used to say that a human being is not born as the finest, but he becomes truly outstanding through persistent and heavy work! This book is the crowning jewel of Oleg Maltsev’s 20 years of research, a shining piece of collaboration created in New York together with a disciple of the legendary Cus: Tom Patti.
The essence of this book consists of How I have studied this system personally. My way differs radically from Nigel's outlook, but it is close to Lloyd's outlook; however, at the same time it oversteps his bounds. My vision has no relation to the viewpoint of Scott as he has tried to adapt the Southern African criminal tradition for the Mexican criminal tradition and to show it in the lights of the Mexican criminal tradition. As a result, as far as I understand, Scott Babb has got the mix consisting of the Philippine military arts, criminal tradition of South Africa and the Mexican tradition. Concerning the Mexican criminal tradition, we will separately speak about it in other book. As for the book "Black Logic", no doubt, you may grab the opportunity to estimate my knowledge of the Southern African criminal tradition. After that you will be able (if you wish) to get acquainted with the views of Nigel, Lloyd and Scott, of course. As a result you in the right way to choose any viewpoint of these four people - I mean, choose any you feel more pleased by. Personally, I consider my vision of the Southern African criminal tradition as true and correct. Why is it so? Firstly, because I am an expert in Norman system. Secondly, because the conversation with Mr. Lloyd begun with facing the fact that the criminal tradition to South Africa was brought by Danes, that is by Normans, and respectively, we should call this system to be truly -Norman. I research Norman system for 20 years approximately and certainly I understand the differences of system of South Africa and of initial Norman system. Besides , we have to admit, that the Southern African criminal tradition is one of the most difficult criminal traditions that I have ever met. It is difficult, first of all, due to the fact it is badly understood by white people. It is difficult for us to understand the thinking of the black person. But frankly speaking, I also don't want you starting thinking as black people. I would like you to have acquired not working methods with bladed weapon, but a certain logic throughout the whole book. For this reason I entitled the book as "Black Logic". And once again: I would like to repeat that it is only my view of the Southern African criminal tradition. The criminal tradition of South Africa itself exists without Mr.Maltsev, without Mr.Scott, without Mr.Lloyd and without Nigel. It has existed before, exists today and will exist futher. Each of us is only a loud-hailer, and all of us simply tell facts helping to acquaint you with this tradition.
This book is the result of research done by advocates and experts in criminalistic research. Can be said that this is the extract of legal criminalistic research that was done by this research group. The author of the book says it’s a directory, if this book is used in any other way the person that does so is fully responsible for his or her actions. The book is filled with thesis And notes that were made during one on one lectures and talks with an instructor of the south African criminal knife tradition. The instructor’s name is John Lloyd, in this book the whole South African criminal tradition is described in thesis. At the very beginning of the book it states. “ The south African criminal knife tradition is based on tricks or lies” How to trick or lie to a person in order for that person to not understand that he’s being lied to and not understand what is going on. Describing the actual tradition the author states: “ in fact we don’t call any certain technique “technique” There is such an notion as “flow” how a river flows? There is one flow of water second floor of water and third flow of water. There is the base flow there is the medium flow and then there is the flow of a higher level. In the base there is seven elements. Further the author is describing The different steps that he took in order to get acquainted with the South African criminal knife tradition, And the result of this is he understood the specific movements, He understood about the corners and the way that the strikes need to be executed, he understood where the strakes need to be and how to hide the knife, which reactions are not needed and which reactions a person has to get rid of, and also he understood the mechanism that allows for the mass to be put into the strike, understood the tactics of how one should act in extreme situations, How the intention can change at the time of the attack and what tactical specifics and differences the south African criminal knife tradition has. In the book it is talked about different logical models that allow someone to learn to work with a knife extremely fast. The author also mentions a style called “piper” citing Mr. Lloyd he writes: “Initially before piper there was “form style” , it’s a formal style game that was made up in a juvenile prison. This games intention is to see who starts to cry first, Who sees the blood and will start acting strangely, so it’s a provocation to see how a person will react and act in different situations. And that what we are learning is for the big boys it’s the south African criminal knife tradition” In one of the talks the author was speaking to the instructor and the instructor stated: “ africans have always attacked with such speed that they’d never needed to protect themselves”
Jean Baudrillard is characterized as the “Last Prophet of Europe”: not just because he was a prominent thinker, French philosopher and author of more than 50 works and essays that examine modern consumer society in depth. Events and phenomena described by Baudrillard in his works 20-30 years ago are taking place today. By means of his writings he described his view of the world and explained why people and society are the way they are. He “encrypted” in his works a system that allows for making accurate prognosis. There was no book until this that could have demonstrated the integral system of Baudrillard’s philosophy. Baudrillard did not share it with anybody and did not describe it explicitly as a whole. Figuratively speaking, he deconstructed his system into “bricks” (his writings), then built a building out of them, numbered each brick, and dismantled the building and burned the schemes. In the book Baudrillard. Maestro. The Last Prophet of Europe, Oleg Maltsev thoroughly analyzes each brick and constructs Baudrillard’s system presenting to readers for the first time a complete model, the tools used by Baudrillard and his philosophy. Throughout the 16 chapters of this book, the author looks into all kinds of subjects raised by Baudrillard with practical examples, among which the “masses”, the “kingdom of the blind”, the “silent majority”, “perfect crime”, European mysticism, the “symbolic system” and many other phenomena are examined from the viewpoint of the scholar. The author also shares his research results based on the philosophy and sociology of Baudrillard. Dr. Maltsev then examines Jean Baudrillard’s works (some of which had been translated into Russian for the first time), his photographic pieces, and interviews people who personally knew Baudrillard, his critics and fellow researchers. This work is a practical book for modern people who want to have an objective view of the current state of affairs and take responsibility for their present and future. It provides an idea for the use of the philosophy, sociology, and radical anthropology of Baudrillard as the foundation of personal achievement, efficiency, and safety in such unstable and uncertain conditions of a constantly changing environment.
Following book is about a knife in russian criminal tradition. There are several reasons I have thought that it would be interesting to write this book. First, you know, russian criminal tradition has very exceptional features in comparison with other criminal traditions around the world, it is highly dependent on power. And we got so used to it, that it got mixed in our everyday life, to the extent that even politicians while making speech use words that belong to certain social environment. That is to say, this criminal tradition somehow got blended with social life and became its inseparable element, but not quite understandable. On the other hand.it was classified as secret at the turn of 50-40s,and it was made part of the USSR army secret service's arsenal. In this book you may misunderstand meaning of the title "On your knives". You might think that "to put one on knives" (Russian “поставить на ножи"), means to murder somebody with a knife. That is not what it means. Etymology of the expression “On your knives" has an exact interpretation and meaning of what is going on. When people say “play your last card", meaning “trust in fate", but when it is said on your knives", it means “to settle a dispute between two men by the use of two knives", meaning "turning to God for help". Hence, meaning of the title “on your knives", in essence, is the same as "playing one’s last card", except in the first case it means “trust in fate", and in second “trust in God”. For this reason “by the use of two knives” is Divine justice. We will talk about its origin in this and in coming books.
This book is devoted to results of the scientific research of bladed weapon technology used in Mexican criminal tradition compiled throughout four historical periods: pre-Columbian era; period of the Spanish colonization; war with America in the middle of the 19th century; Mexican mafia as a sample of the 20th and 21st century.
In the rapidly evolving world, all aspects of our lives and societies inevitably change, and organized crime and criminal traditions are no exception. Oppositely, usually, the criminal world is the first to react to changes, which necessitates having up to date information and understanding new tendencies and progressions. On September 26-27, 2020, the round tables were held by the “International society of expert criminologists” that brought together different experts from Canada, USA, Brazil, South Africa, Great Britain, and Ukraine. The “International Society of Expert Criminologists” unites leading experts in criminology, criminalistics, organized crime, money laundering, wildlife crime, criminal traditions, investigators around the globe to objectively look into ongoing global issues and prognose their further developments. The goal of the “International Society of Expert Criminologists” is to provide up to date assessments of criminalization tendencies every three-four months and search for effective countermeasure tactics on national and transnational levels. The following questions were the subject of round tables: 1) What are the current tendencies in criminalization on the national and transnational levels? 2) Will the post-pandemic era require new methods of countermeasures? 3) Have the prognoses stated in the previous meeting came true, and if yes in what ways?
Collected Papers of the International interdisciplinary conference “Sketch a subculture” Subcultures can be so tightly integrated into the contemporary person's daily life that they have become almost indispensable and ubiquitous. Family, job, agreements, responsibilities and negotiations are one thing, but, let us say, skydiving, or riding a bike in the company of motorcycle enthusiasts is a different thing—no less an important part of one's life. The current state of affairs is that almost everyone on this planet belongs to some subculture in one way or another. This another, natural part of one's lifestyle for pleasure is not always considered a "subculture," but the heart of the matter does not change because of this. To the point, a person might be a part of more than one subculture, and at the same time know nothing about what it may lead to; they may know nothing about the possible scenarios, goals and intentions of this environment. Even the most attractive and "mysteriously" formulated idea (for example, attaining Nirvana) remains something inconceivable, for what is "Nirvana," and how to understand that this state has been achieved is unknown. The idea has no explanations, no criteria and no parameters. And yet, this does not stop people from pursuing ideas as such. Many voluntarily strive for something they know practically nothing about. Why are subcultures so attractive? Why have they become magnets to researchers, professionals and business persons, among all others? These and many other questions require innovative approaches and an unbiased dialogue in an understandable scientific language. The International interdisciplinary conference “Sketch a subculture” united leading experts, scientists, researchers, practitioners, journalists, photographers and thinkers for this discussion on 6 different online panels, where the following questions were discussed: 1. Problems of choosing a research path in studying a subculture. 2. Plan of researching a subculture: from the idea to the completion of the research, from mythological and religious to scientific and philosophical worldviews. 3. From mythologemes to ideas as foundational elements of subculture formation. Approaches for researching mythologemes that underlie the philosophy of a subculture. 4. Approaches for studying the hierarchy of subcultures. Can we claim that the hierarchical structure of all subcultures is identical? 5. Ways to explore the attributes and symbols of subcultures. 6. The phenomenon of “Subculture in Subculture” and characteristics of its study. The synthesis of ideas in the subculture, reasons for the existence of subcultures, invisible internal mechanisms that maintain their continuance. 7. Frederick Lawrence’s drawing as the purpose of subculture research. 8. Can we consider a subculture as a machine that shapes a personality? The idea of death and different ways of implementing this idea by subcultures in daily life. 9. Frederick Lawrence’s drawing, the theory of subculture formation, application of prototype method to understand phenomena. 10. Is it true that one idea forms a whole subculture? The pathway in subculture: fatal and successful. 11. The difference between subculture and religion. What are specific elements that shape each institution? 12. Use of religion by other social institutions (business, politics, etc.) for their own purposes. Religion transformation: from divine transcendence to the universal society based on techno-ideological principles.
Collected Papers of the International scientific and practical conference “City as a Classroom” This conference is designed to consolidate the efforts of scientists and experts to ultimately comprehend existing questions with scientifically based keys, directed at uncovering the logic and tactics of implementing "HOW TO MAKE THIS CIVILIZATION A FLOURISHING ONE". In the course of six days of the conference, the following topics were covered in the format of online discussion panels: 1. Theoretical foundations for studying cities. City as a set of factors defining the status and level of personality development; 2. Symbolism, photography, expeditionary scientific activities, and other methods of exploring cities; 3. Ongoing threats in the context of the city; 4. Symbolism, mysticism and visual sociology of the European continent. Sociological, psychological, anthropological and religious perspectives on cities in other continents; 5. City as a university and training program in life; 6. Architecture as textbooks for city residents and unconscious training in the course of their lives in a city. As an outcome of the scientific discussion, the following aspects were considered and analyzed: the way the urban environment affects a person and determines his or her future; how may the methodology of researching a city as a classroom may; security in the city; the stages of personal development; statuses and factors determining personal development and photography as a tool for looking into historical enigmas.
