  • Book cover of A Writers Journey

This initially did not start out as my journey or even as a book. It began as smaller blogs on my Facebook page: TRUTH FOR TODAY. I headed this blog up as “Writing of the Week”. Each week I would write about one of the books I have written. These not only promoted these books but also there was a lot of insight written in them. There was a lot of history of the past several years when I started becoming an Christian Author. I began this journey in 1997, maybe even some preparation and rejection several years earlier. I decided to compile all of these blogs into one file. I thought that this might be a good thing to place on my author page as an introduction to myself and my writings. I started reviewing these and these not only told about each book and subject matter, but also about my history that I was going through. It told of my success and also told of my failures. It revealed my frustrations, but also revealed my faith. It revealed my faith, my walk with the Lord over several years and also how I had grown in that walk. Honestly, I stand back and look at all these and am amazed at what the Lord had built. Yes, I said what the Lord has built through me. These also tell about me. Tells about me as a writer, but also tells about me as a person. You get to know the content of these writings, but you get to know the writer of all these books. Maybe it would still have been a good post on an author page, but the more I looked at this and read this, it has so much information and teaching, it also is a great book and biography on myself. This will teach you how to get into writing if you are interested. It will teach you about electronic book technology. First you have to have the desire to write, but this technology is really simple once you learn this and dive into it. It doesn't matter if you are a Christian Author,, a children's book author, a non-fiction or fiction author. The process is the same. It is virtually no cost to you but can reap many benefits. I thought making this free was a good idea, but at low cost, there is so many values and benefits to buying. I know you will find this interesting and insightful. You will learn much in this one writing that you would learn in years of experience. It will make you think and meditate about many subjects. It will test and try your faith. But it will motivate you to begin. Everything begins with just one step; one small step of faith. At the very least it will introduce you to the different books I have written and which ones may be of more interest to your particular tastes or what you may be going through and thinking about now. Be Blessed in all you do. Do everything as unto the Lord and you will prosper in all you do. PATRICK J VAUGHAN

  • Book cover of GRACE

I have been impressed and directed by the Lord to do a booklet on grace. Many things get accomplished when this happens. One of the main things is that he teaches me and gives me greater revelation and understanding about grace. With this understanding, I not only can write effectively but also learn more about my Father and what grace really is. I believe that this is one of the most misunderstood terms in the Church today not only with the followers of Jesus, but also the ministers of the gospel. Let us take this journey of grace together so we all may be partakers of his grace and givers of that grace also.

  • Book cover of MATTERS OF THE HEART

We need to learn to concentrate on our spiritual heart even more than we concentrate on our physical heart. We need to learn to release and dig up the pain and sorrows that have cast away the person we were or the person we were to become. There are over 900 specific scriptures in the Bible according to the Strong’s Concordance dealing with the word heart. The Bible talks a lot about the condition of the heart. We are going to look at many conditions, many insights, and many examples of people of scripture that have dealt with and changed their hearts through faith and truth. There is a spiritual battle going on right now for your spiritual heart. There is a battle for your affection and your intimacy. We are going to learn about the spiritual heart and how God can make us new, whole, and complete; the way we are meant to be. There are many matters of the heart spoke about in the Bible because the state of my heart and your heart really does matter!

  • Book cover of The Twelve Apostles

An apostle of Christ is also one who is called, commissioned, and sent to proclaim the good news of the Gospel of Christ. John 15:16 has Jesus saying to his disciples; “You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth good fruit.” Jesus chose twelve apostles that walked with him during three years of ministry here on earth. He commissioned them, ordained them, taught them, and empowered them. These twelve were to be the foundation of the Church we see today. Jesus, who is the chief cornerstone, along with the foundation of the apostles and prophets who make up the spiritual house (Church) today. (Ephesians 2:20) Even today, the Lord Jesus is calling and choosing many to build his Church.
