This present Business and R&D Strategy was commissioned by the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Australia (AFFA) and the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC) on the suggestion of industry and government in May 2000 to determine the best way to develop a project to domesticate SBT in Australia for the production of fingerlings for farming and stock enhancement.
