Whilst there was a large number of primary-care staff wanting to treat psychiatrically ill children, they lacked adequate training. There was, in the past, an insufficient number of prescribable, measurable, techniques to aid any training in this field of work. This resulted in confusion and apathy amongst staff, together with long periods of treatment which often weakened family relationships. Originally published in 1985, this book was designed to equip all professionals dealing with emotionally or behaviourally disturbed children and their families, with practical methods and techniques. It demonstrates how staff can work more effectively when each child and family being treated has a detailed treatment programme, each component of which can be readily understood and measured. The 61 techniques included in this handbook were developed over many years during the authors’ experience in Canada, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
First published in 1995. Offering group therapy techniques for post-abuse children and adults, this book exposes the relationship between doctor and patient, neither one more important than other. A moving and disturbing read that presents information in a honest and straightforward form and for anyone that cares about people, they will gain great benefit from this book.
First published in 1995. Routledge is an imprint of Taylor & Francis, an informa company.

The format of this short book is quite simple. It starts with who God is and what He wants of humans. What and why humans are created in God's original plan. Then comes the discussion of how God's most exquisite creature, humans, made and are still making wrong choices. Then come a short examination of Jesus and His alternative plan and his personal invitations and the amazing benefits from knowing Him. Then comes my discovery of how Jesus' dearly loved children/friends/disciples made and keep making changes to his simple gospel and how the collective effect of these mistakes keep God's potential friends from finding and accepting His simple invitation. What follows is a discussion of 48 serious detractions and mistakes made by Jesus' disciples. For each of these detractions, what some disciples and some churches claiming to represent Jesus, taught and still teach are clearly in conflict and how these detractions are clearly wrong and misleading people from having a personal relationship with the Lord of the Earth. Finally, there are some suggestions as to how to correct them.
