This collection of eclectic short stories is the work of a group of writers that meet twice a month to discuss their works, the craft, the business, and their lives. Each year they create a collection of stories as varied as their styles, genre, and opinions. They donate the royalties to an organization that encourages young writers.

The writers of the Crazy Buffet Club have collectively created this fifth edition of short stories. They are an eclectic group with people of different ages, experiences, genres, and word counts. You will find that these stories reflect the differences just as the collection reflects our common love of writing. Each year we publish this collection and donate all royalties to the Young Southern Student Writers sponsored by the Southern Lit Alliance and the Department of English at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. This year the collection has some writers from the first edition of the Crazy Buffet Club collection, writers who have contributed to later ones, and first time contributors.

They have not enjoyed communing around the table this year. But like so many have found ways to stay in touch. They have continued to fellowship with video chat meetings, by text and emails, and phone.

This is the sixth collection published with short stories from the writers of the Crazy Buffet Club. The collection is eclectic, without a theme, and with different genres, different styles, and difference levels of experience. Some writers are seasoned authors and some are just beginning their journey. The royalties from the collections will be donated each year to an organization that supports young writers.
