TRAPPED IN THE HOUSE FROM HELL . . . FOREVER? Paul Dunford now believes in ghosts, but the knowledge isn’t much help, as the ghosts apparently don’t want him leaving Hell House. Phoenix Aurora, housekeeper of Hell House, wants Paul and his friends to remain there forever. “The house insists on it,” she tells them. Hell House has a secret, however. Although on the surface, it seems to be just another haunted building, this particular house is something much worse than merely another repository for the restless and angry dead. The answer to the mystery lies a hundred years in the past. What exactly did David De Mornay, Hell House’s perverted builder, and his equally perverted daughter Erin do to make their building so evil, so reliant on human suffering for its own existence? Maybe, just maybe, if Paul, Jennifer, Isadora, Aaron, and Tom can find out what that secret is, they might survive the eternal terrors the House promises them. But really, this is just a slim hope. A razor-thin hope. Because, for one thing, Phoenix Aurora has no intention of letting any of them leave her evil house alive. And secondly, Paul and his companions still have to experience the terrors of the Living Wall: the Wall of pain and misery, the Wall of damnation and sorrow and suffering. The Living Wall extends forever in all directions and all it has to offer its captives is eternal torment.

Where the past is cursed, and revenge is a work of art. Paul Dunford owes crime lord Marko Velli a lot of money. Unfortunately for Paul, he has no way of paying back the money he owes Marko. But then, fortunately for Paul, Marko offers him a deal: All that Paul has to do to have his debt written off is spend one weekend at the new house in Raynham that Marko has just bought for his aged mother. Why? Well, Marko’s mother believes her new house is haunted/cursed and refuses to live there. Paul’s job is to determine whether or not the house actually is haunted. Marko tells him to take a group of friends over there, have fun, and wait to see if any ghosts crash the party. Paul’s main qualification for this job is that he doesn’t believe in ghosts. But Paul’s unbelief in the supernatural is about to be overturned big-time. Because, unknown to him, the building he’s going to be spending the weekend in with his friends has been tagged the “Bermuda Triangle of Houses,” and it’s been given that name for very good reasons. Because, a whole lot of people have inexplicably gone missing in there. Vanished for good, never to be seen again. And to further complicate matters, two angry young women have business at the same house that involves disposing of a dismembered corpse. Yes, Paul Dunford and his friends will make it into the Hell House on Raynham’s Carver Street, but the million-dollar question is: will any of them make it out again? Will any of them leave Hell House alive?
