  • Book cover of National Theatre Connections 2024

National Theatre Connections 2024 draws together ten new plays for young people to perform, from some of the UK's most exciting and popular playwrights. These are plays for a generation of theatre-makers who want to ask questions, challenge assertions and test the boundaries, and for those who love to invent and imagine a world of possibilities. The plays offer young performers an engaging and diverse range of material to perform, read or study. Touching on themes like trans-rights, the mental health crisis, colonial history, disability activism, and climate change, the collection provides topical, pressing subject matter for students to explore in their performance. This 2024 anthology represents the full set of ten plays offered by the National Theatre 2024 Festival (eight brand-new plays, and two returning favourites), as well as comprehensive workshop notes that give insights and inspiration for building characters, running rehearsals and staging a production.

Manganese removal by these carbons directly correlated with their hydroxide release, with the greatest precipitation caused by the carbon reactivated with steam at 675 0C. Finally, in seeking to combine adsorption with photocatalysis it was shown that pretreatment of manganese with a slurry of irradiated TiO2 improved subsequent adsorption onto a virgin activated carbon from 2.9 mg/g to 5.2 mg/g (error: " 0.3 mg/g). This trend, however, was not consistently replicated in those tests involving TiO2 coated directly on the carbon granules. Subsequent trials to discern the cause for this inconsistency were inconclusive. TiO2-coated beads were also ineffective in manifesting those trends seen with the slurry experiments, likely because of insufficient semiconductor concentration.

The case study describes the leadership lessons drawn from the role of Kattappa in the movie Baahubali. He took bold decisions to save the Mahishmati kingdom from Bijjaladeva. Being a slave and agile swordsman, he obeyed all the orders of the king of the realm. He made strategic decisions which resulted in positive outcomes for the kingdom. His leadership style can be linked with the theories of servant leadership style. The case tells us about some selected instances from the movies Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had happened with Kattappa which can be used to understand the different principles and philosophy of servant leadership.

ABSTRACT (con't) : Optimization of the regeneration step was accomplished by fluidizing the composite bed to increase particle exposure to incident irradiation. Finally, though not an initial goal of this study, the effect of UV exposure on the chemistry and adsorption of the target dye compound was investigated. The varying capacities of the virgin Acs for the irradiated compounds were attributed to the changes in the electron density of the dye molecule, and the p bonding characteristics of the carbon.

This study addressed the attitudes and expectations of Pakistani women towards psychological help-seeking. The author interviewed four Pakistani women between the ages of twenty-six and forty-three and asked about their problems, their theories of causality for psychological distress, their expressions of distress, and their methods and patterns of help-seeking. Qualitative analyses suggested that the problems of Pakistani women are usually interpersonal in nature. A second associated finding is that the interpersonal worlds of these women are very complex. Finally, the study's participants sought solutions to their problems primarily within their support systems. They resorted to physicians and religious healers only when they encountered serious problems.
