This is an open access book. We proudly present the 2022 Brawijaya International Conference (BIC) as the consecutive series of conferences that is organised and hosted annually by Univeritas Brawijaya, Indonesia. The BIC 2022 will be held in Bali, Indonesia, on October 7 – 9, 2022. The conference committee consists of multi department of Univeritas Brawijaya. The BIC 2022 will present multidisciplinary research, community service essay and research, and industrial findings related to sustainable development. Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia (PPN) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) estimates that Indonesia will experience a demographic bonus in 2045. This can bring Indonesia to its heyday if the demographic bonus can be used properly. Human development and mastery of science and technology, sustainable economic development, equitable development, and strengthening national resilience and governance are the four pillars in welcoming that era. The first pillar, human development and mastery of science and technology, can be achieved by realizing quality education. Unfortunately, many factors cause the low quality of higher education in Indonesia. The skill gap or skill gap is one of the causes of the non-absorption of college graduates into work. As a result, many graduates are unemployed. It was recorded that in 2021 the number of unemployed in Indonesia was more than 8 million undergraduates, an increase of 26.3% compared to 2020. In addition to skill gaps, low communication and problem-solving abilities, lack of science and technology, digital literacy skills, and teamwork abilities are also recorded as obstacles. However, to start that development, college students must improve their thought. They have to know the problem's surroundings and solve it through research. And this book is a compilation of their study through research.

The reputation and achievement of the ASEAN Community hinges on compliance. This seminal book discusses whether ASEAN's faith in dispute settlement and monitoring mechanisms as a means to better compliance is justified and delves into the extent to which they can facilitate ASEAN Community building. This is an open access book. The first Nusa Tenggara International Conference on Chemistry (1st NITRIC), which will take place in Lombok, Indonesia, on July 28 and 29, 2022. The conference organized by Department of Chemistry Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram, Indonesia. Collaborations on the conference have been made with PP Savani University, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in India, and the Indonesian Chemical Society-Nusa Tenggara Chapter. The conference aims to bring synergy between research and industry by disseminating research findings from universities, research centers, and government bodies. The conference will give attendees the chance to learn about more environmentally friendly and effective technologies in the areas of chemistry, chemical process, and engineering in the spirit of green chemistry, chemical, and industrial process for a sustainable and brighter future. The first NiTRIC 2022 offers a platform for scientists from other countries to share and discuss their most recent research and expertise through oral and poster presentations. These scientists include chemists, material scientists, engineers, undergraduate, graduate (master’s and doctoral) students, and scientists from research centers and industries. In addition, international keynote and invited speakers from a variety of fields will attend the plenary session to offer their knowledge. All papers will be published in conference proceedings, and following peer review, the best articles will be published in indexed journals by Scopus.
