本論文主要研究十九世紀末奧地利作家霍夫曼斯塔爾(Hugo von Hofmannsthal)與史尼茨勒(Arthur Schnitzler)作品當中的孤寂主題.首先透過宏觀的歷史考察, 解析當時奧匈帝國首都維也納的政治情勢以及兩位作家所面臨的猶太身份認同問題, 用以說明當時社會環境如何導致兩位作家的孤寂心態;探討維也納現代派(Wiener Moderne)作為與柏林自由主義分家而崛起的文學現象.再以霍氏短篇小說第六百七十二夜童話(Das Marchen der 672. Nacht)及史氏中篇小說遁入黑暗(Flucht in die Finsternis)為例, 探討故事情節與場景對孤寂感的營造與主人公心理層面的孤寂.分析角色商人之子(Der Kaufmannssohn)作為愛好藝術之人, 孤寂心境的體現與轉變;以及主角羅伯特(Robert), 在面對兄長奧托(Otto)時所體現之心理與生理狀態的改變與疏離.

Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit den Verfilmungen von Erich Kastners Roman Das doppelte Lottchen und versucht zu erklaren, warum diese Geschichte fur die Regisseure in verschiedenen Zeiten und Kulturen so attraktiv war. Als Forschungsmaterialien dienen der originale Text und dessen Verfilmungen aus Deutschland (1950, 1994, 2007), Japan (1991) und den USA (1998). Da sich das Hauptthema des Romans auf Scheidung und Wiederheirat bezieht, zielt diese Arbeit darauf ab, die Vermittlung der Familienwerte von den oben genannten Filmen zu analysieren. Die Ergebnisse sollten die Familienwerte unter verschiedenen Zeiten und kulturellen Perspektiven prasentieren. This thesis is focused on the screen adaptations of Erich Kastner's novel Das doppelte Lottchen and tries to explain, why this story has attracted so many movie directors in different times. The subjects of this study include the original text and the screen adaptations from Germany (1950, 1994, 2007), Japan (1991) and the USA (1998). Since the main theme of the novel is related to divorce and remarriage, this paper aims to analyze the family values conveyed by the movies mentioned above. The results present the family values at different ages and cultural perspectives..
