Ivan and his business partner were sitting in their office in Sagunto (Valencia), unusually worried, that morning in 2012. They had just read about the takeover of three small savings banks by one large bank. These were their main clients. It had been two years since the impact of the international crisis in the financial sector affected all sectors and is now taking its toll on Ivan. His main customers were the savings banks and small banks in Spain. He had been in the market for more than 12 years providing them with software development solutions in COBOL language and intranet solutions with Microsoft technologies.

In 2014, Eduardo García-Oliveros was appointed CEO of the subsidiary Comercial Mercedes-Benz and general director of Subsidiaries for Spain. Then, he was facing the beginning of a disruptive change in the automotive industry. In June 2018, at the end of his speech as the sponsor of the ESIC Businesss & Marketing School Valencia 2018 class, he noticed that those youngsters had new insights to understand problems and propose different solutions. That afternoon, Eduardo found the solution to the problem of charging points in Valencia and made EQ Smart the market leader... he breathed a sigh of relief, «the best or nothing».

The objective of this investigation is to analyze the problems caused by the joint custody of children and adolescents after marriage dissolution. In order to do so, we used neutrosophic logic because it is useful to recommend attention to the conditions that frequently occur in this group of people. To achieve this objective, we carried out an analysis that provided scientific and legal knowledge, related to the regulation of joint custody within the Ecuadorian legal system, which had the purpose of ensuring the best interests of children and adolescents when their parents get divorced.

Calorimetric Methods for the Characterization of Porous Materials presents calorimetric methods used in the characterization of porous materials using chemical thermodynamics. Among these materials, catalysts, supports and adsorbents (such as Activated Carbon, Metal-Organic-Frameworks, SBA-15, Zeolites, Graphene, Graphite, Carbon Foams) are presented. In addition, the use of calorimetry in the study of catalytic reactions in different phases is explored—applicable to air and wastewater treatment, clean and renewable energies, green chemistry, as well as energy production and storage (Carbon dioxide, methane and hydrogen at high pressure).
