Lion in the Light is the memoir of the first modern-day king to be enthroned in America. His Majesty F. A. Ayi was crowned King in Washington, D.C. on October 29, 1994. His life is a testament to an unstoppable destiny. Even when he was a young child it was obvious to all who knew him that God's anointing was upon his life for something special. Born to a mother not of royal blood and a father of the Royal Family of the Guin people of West Africa, his life helps us to understand that God chooses our circumstances so that He can mold us into a vessel that He can use. There can be no doubt that King Ayi was born "for such a time as this," but along the way he has experienced everything - from the joy of having it all to the difficulty of privation. The trials of life he has endured propelled him to become a humanitarian. The book teaches many valuable lessons. The greatest of these is that if God has called and chosen you, your true peace and happiness will come only if and when you say yes to His call.

"Protocol ... so many questions have been put to me and my staff over the past years about this word and what it means. What is the proper protocol when you meet a person in public office, particularly someone from a royal family? What is the proper protocol when you sit with them? When you greet them? How should you address them? These are just a few of the many questions we receive on a regular basis. "Rather than answer each person individually, my staff got me to sit down and give them an interview on the subject, and from that interview the following answers emerged. Now we have decided to put it into booklet form to assist those who want to know the proper behavior in a given situation." - H.M. F. Ayi
