Introduction to Financial Accounting has been prepared in accordance with the recommendations of the Accounting Education Change Commission for use in the firstcourse in accounting. Its primary objective is to help students learn about accounting as an information development and communication function that supports economicdecision-making. It aims at providing knowledge and skills to facilitate subsequentlearning even if they take no additional academic work in accounting or directly relateddisciplines.
