This book is about my life as a child in the 1950’s. From my childhood to my teenage years. I’m not proud of my childhood but it is very important to me to let everyone know what I went through as a child. It gives me some relief to know that someone else knows how I felt during that time and a lot of people can relate to this. I want this to be continuing story of my life after I started to work until the present. People don’t know what fear is until they live through and make it. I know that the things that happened to me doesn’t change anything but at least it will give me a chance to let the world know what it is like and the struggle that you should go through to get to where you are now.

Sometimes a whisper is the loudest sound in the world. The "whispers" of God, should we choose to listen, can be heard above the deafening buzzes, rattles, and hums of our own voices, thoughts, and hectic modern lives. The most precious time we have as human beings is spent in the quiet presence of God, and experiencing his Word to the world. In Whisperings, author Edna Hunt gives readers an open window view to her own private, quiet time with God, and the blessings that have arisen from it. In the early hours before dawn, Hunt sat with her Bible, reading and pondering the truth to be found there, waiting to be understood. In these soft moments, God whispered. Each whisper encouraged Hunt to journey with Him further, and the author watched as His Word leapt to life. From these inspiring, refreshing whispers, the seed for this book of devotional insights and ideas was planted. Within its pages, readers will experience the murmurs of God's gentle direction, heard through a variety of spiritual subjects, practices, questions, and challenges. In addition, the author brings seventy-five collected years of insights gained on her own Christian journey and time spent listening to God's Word. The author's wish is for God to speak to readers' hearts through these pages, and hopes they will see that God has an infinite number of ways to get their attention, and be heard.
