This study develops a clear, workable methodology for integrating separate models of energy supplies and demands into a coherent market equilibrating system. The objective is to obtain a relatively simple system which can be readily disseminated and extensively (and inexpensively) used to provide forecasts and analysis of future movements in energy prices and quantities.

This investigation was carried out to characterize the wastewater from British Columbia plywood and veneer plants; to examine plant operations that generate wastewater; and to document wastewater disposal and treatment procedures that are being used within the industry. The data obtained indicate that all wastewater generated by the plywood and veneer operations is toxic to fish at low effluent concentrations and that this toxicity increases with increased resin and phenolic content of the effluent.
