Not only do the Authors share their own experiences as being a moms, college students and business owners, but they provide helpful tips and activities. Cheneka Hobbs and Earlina Webb-Banks are both mothers, friends, and entrepreneurs. They were encouraged to write this book after discussing many of the same topics with friends and Moms about how they are strategically becoming successful in certain areas of Motherhood. They discovered they were sharing some tips and information that may be helpful to others and decided a book covering some topics with fun activities would enlighten others.

This collection contains materials collected by Jan Voogt while conducting research for his dissertation which focuses on reaction to the Vietnam War in the town of Brownsville, Tenn. There are Voogt's personal interviews with 53 individuals about their personal experiences during the war. There are also photocopies of articles from the Brownsvill newspaper, the States-Graphic, reflecting local coverage of the war.
