Unter dem Begriff Desintegration können unterschiedliche künstlerisch-ästhetische Strategien zusammengefasst werden, die die tradierten Repräsentationen jüdischer Positionen unterlaufen und transformieren. In dieser Hinsicht meint Desintegration Haltungen, die eine Differenz zur eingespielten jüdischen Opferrolle erzeugen und somit den Blick weiten für die Vielfalt neuer künstlerischer und gesellschaftlicher Perspektiven sowie vorhandener marginalisierter Narrative, die diese Opferrolle aushöhlen – wie etwa Rache, Wut, Ironie, Selbstermächtigung.
